This diorama, built by Steve & Denise Miller, shows the lay-out of the
mounds which were built by Native Americans over 1,000 years ago.
Prehistoric people inhabited the Toltec site from 650 to 1050 A.D. They
were given the name Plum Bayou Culture by archeologists from the local
stream with that name.
