Nina Reveley Odom
Nina Reveley was born August 9, 1920 to Wilson and Eva Utley Reveley.

She walked 2 1/2 miles to Sardis school, at Ward, with her uncle Tommy Reveley and Aunts Dovie and Mary.

Nina married Harmon Preston Odom, a farmer of the Jacksonville area.  She said they "barely made it";  Mr. Odom also taught school at Moss Chapel and Mt. Springs.

The greatest advances or inventions during her lifetime Nina reported was the tractor and haybaler.

When asked what was the most important lesson you hope your children learned from you, she said, "Honesty, and to pay their debts."
